A simple hearty sandwich for family weekend meal. You can play around with your choice of bread by using buns, pita or tortilla wraps.
Serving Size: 2 Adults & 2 Children
Ingredients
1. Portobello Mushroom - 150g
2. Garlic butter ( from garlic butter recipe) - 2 tablespoon
3. Hot dog or Burger Buns
4. Oriental Treasure Rub - 1/2 tablespoon
5. Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
6. Chicken Breast - 100g
Cooking Instruction
1. Slice the portobello mushroom and chicken breast
2. Slice the buns into half and brush the insides with olive oil
3. Lightly toast in the oven at 180 degrees C for 3 to 5 mins
4. Pre-heat a frying pan and stir fry chicken breast slices with 1 tablespoon of garlic butter till brown.
5. Add sliced portobello mushroom into the pan together with the oriental treasure rub and 1 tablespoon of garlic butter.
6. Stir-fry mushrooms and chicken together until the mushrooms start to sweat and release water.
Assemble the sandwich together by placing the filling on the toasted buns.
Suggestion
The little gravy in the pan is savoury so use it as a dip or spread some across the bread and allow it to soak into the bread before adding on the filling.
