Ingredients
1. Clams - 500g
2. Fish sauce - 3 teaspoons
3. Garlic - 2 cloves
4. Red chili - 2 whole
5. Chili paste - 1 tablespoon
6. Sugar - 2 teaspoons
7. Thai Basil - 1 bunch
8. Cooking oil - 1 tablespoon
Preparation Instructions
1. Defrost the clams if frozen.
2. Slice the chilies into thin strips.
Cooking Instructions
1. In a wok, heat up the oil on high heat. Add garlic and sliced chilies.
2. Add in the clams and stir. Cook on high until all the clams have opened up.
3. Stir in fish sauce, chili paste, and sugar. Mix well.
4. Lastly add the Thai basil. Give it a quick mix and remove from heat.
Serve while it is hot. Discard any unopened clams.
Suggestion
You can also use mussels for this recipe.
Storage
Not recommended to keep overnight.
