Ingredients
1. Brown rice bee hoon - 1 packet
2. Pork ribs 罐頭紅燒排骨 - 1 can
3. Frozen Squids rings - 100g
4. Cabbage - 10g
5. Egg - 3 whole
6. Red chili sliced -1 tablespoon
7. Chopped Garlic - from 8 cloves
8. Pepper - 1 teaspoon
9. Cooking oil - 2 tablespoons
Garnish
Fried Shallots - 1 tablespoon
Preparation Instructions
1. Soak bee hoon in clean water until softened (about 30 minutes). Drain away the water.
2. Separate the sauce and meat of the canned pork ribs in 2 bowls.
3. De-bone the meat and cut the meat into smaller pieces. Set aside the sauce for later.
4. Rinse and drain the cabbage. Slice thinly and set aside.
5. Defrost frozen squid rings. Rinse with water and pat dry with paper towels.
6. Crack the eggs in a bowl. Add ½ teaspoon of salt, and ¼ pepper.
Cooking Instructions
1. Heat up fyring pan with ½ teaspoon of cooking oil. With a medium flame, stir in eggs mixture for 1 minute. Transfer to plate.
2. Fry squid rings for 1 minute or till cooked.
3. With a medium flame, heat up the frying pan with cooking oil.
4. Fry chopped garlic till fragrant. Add in bee hoon.
5. Sprinkle pork ribs and pork ribs sauce evenly. Add in pepper.
6. Continue to fry bee hoon for 5 minutes.
7. Add in fried squid rings, sliced cabbage and sliced chili. Mix all ingredients and bee hoon together.
8. Continue to cook for another minute.
9. Top the fried bee hoon with scrambled eggs, sliced chili and fried shallots.
Suggestion
Make this a well-balanced meal but using more cabbage or adding in your favourite vegetables
Storage
This can be kept in the fridge for 2-3 days
